Surabaya – PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) received an award in the field of taxation for the second time as one of the best agencies in terms of the biggest Income Tax (PPh) and Value Added Tax (PPN) payments in the East Java region.
President Director of the Company, Ir. Yahya Taufik, explained one of the award assessments is the compliance of taxpayer in carrying out the tax system by the legislation properly and correctly. Then, how the taxpayer fulfills its responsibilities to several stakeholders.
“The main thing is our responsibility to the country. We always implement regulations related to circulars, tax calculation procedures, and other provisions of all types of taxes. We always communicate with regulators regarding the Company’s tax rights and obligations. In addition to the government, the Company also has tax responsibilities to consumers, suppliers, investors, employees, and the Company itself.” Said Ir. Yahya Taufik.
The award was handed over directly by the Head of KPP Madya Sidoarjo, Heru Pamungkas, accompanied by the Head of Regional Office of DJP Jatim II, Agustin Vita Avantin, in the Palamarta 2023 event held at Shangri-la Hotel Surabaya, Wednesday (18/10/2023).
