NPK fertilizer production and distribution company, PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) will distribute dividends for Financial Year 2022 with a total of IDR153,750,000,000, or IDR30 per share. Following the company’s spectacular performance throughout Financial Year 2022, where SAMF’s sales increased by 99 percent from the previous year.
“Yes, throughout 2022, fertilizer sales accumulated at IDR3.689 trillion, or an increase of 99 percent compared to 2021. With these data and facts, the Company’s net profit increased by 102 percent to IDR345.99 billion. The remaining net profit after deducting the dividend allocation will be recorded as retained earnings. The decision has been patented in the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Monday, May 29, 2023.” Said Ir. Yahya Taufik, President Director of the Company.
In previous years, SAMF also routinely paid dividends. In 2020 SAMF distributed dividends of IDR52.78 billion or IDR10.30 per share, then in 2021, it distributed IDR89.27 billion or IDR17.42 per share. Furthermore, in 2022 the Company distributed dividends of IDR 85.57 billion or IDR 16.70 per share.
On the other hand, in the first quarter of 2023, SAMF again posted fantastic sales figures of IDR1.52 trillion, jumping 81.79 percent from the same period in the previous year of IDR839.49 billion. Not only sales, profit for the year in the first quarter of 2023 also increased significantly to IDR145.63 billion, up 84.24 percent compared to the same period in the previous year of IDR79.04 billion.
SAMF’s dividend distribution schedule is as follows: Cum dividends on Regular Market and Negotiated Market on June 8, 2023. Ex-dividends on Regular Market and Negotiated Market on June 9, 2023. Cum dividends on Cash Market on June 12, 2023. Ex-dividends on Cash Market on June 13, 2023. Register of shareholders entitled to cash dividends, aka recording date on June 12, 2023. Payment will be made on June 30, 2023.
