Jakarta – PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF) posted fantastic sales figures in the first quarter of 2023, amounting to Rp1.52 trillion, jumping 81.79% from the same period in the previous year of Rp839.49 billion. There are indications that fertilizer demand is increasing sharply from year to year, and the full support of existing clients makes SAMF’s performance even better in 2023. Not only sales, profit for the year in the first quarter of 2023 also increased significantly to Rp145.63 billion or 84.24% higher than the same period in the previous year of Rp79.04 billion.

“One of SAMF’s successes in continuing to increase sales from year to year is because we implement manufacturing excellence and a digital fertilizer system to monitor all aspects of factory performance, also support production performance such as: securing raw materials, maintaining machinery, increasing reliability, and reducing the number of shutdowns at the factory. We will continue to improve fertilizer productivity to support the national food security program.” Said Ir. Yahya Taufik, President Director of the Company.

As of the first quarter of 2023, the company engaged in the production and distribution of NPK fertilizers recorded assets of Rp2.9 trillion, liabilities of Rp1.70 trillion, and equity of Rp1.26 trillion.

“The problem that still plagues the national fertilizer industry is the unoptimized production of fertilizers resulting in an imbalance between demand and supply, for this reason, SAMF is committed to ensuring factory reliability, guaranteed supply of raw materials, and timeliness of distribution both in terms of raw materials and products. In 2023 SAMF targets increasing sales growth by around 20% to Rp4.4 trillion.” Said Ir. Yahya Taufik. (*)
